Oscar 2014 – Die Nominierungen im Überblick

Im Gegensatz zu der Verleihung werden die Nominierungen für die Oscars gegen 14:30 Uhr verkündet – also zu der angenehmen Uhrzeit zwischen Mittagspause und Nachmittagsarbeit. In diesem Jahr gaben Chris Hemsworth und Cheryl Boone Isaacs die Namen und Filmtitel bekannt – und die größte Enttäuschung war für mich, dass Robert Redford nicht für „All is lost“ nominiert wurde. Der Film hat auch keine Nominierung für den Ton bekommen, lediglich eine für Sound Editing. Gefreut habe ich hingegen über die Nominierung von „The Act of Killing“ als beste Dokumentation und sowohl „The Broken Circle“ als auch „La grande bellezza“ als bester fremdsprachiger Film. Weiterhin ein Rätsel bleibt für mich die große Zuneigung für „American Hustle”.
